When the July sun is beating down and the girls need a good freshening up, sometimes we'll get the hose out and give them a good shampoo and rinsing. For the most part, they're pretty good about the whole process. . . .

. . . Six months later, up the tulips rise from the warming ground. They are so colorful, beautiful, a wonderful reminder of the promise of Spring. Now stay away deer, at least until they are almost finished with their glory.

With the colors of July in bloom, the girls strike a pose in full smile mode.

After a recent snow, ZuZu would run and jump and then bury her head in the snow, then lift it up to look around for the next spot. I caught her looking my way after she lifted her head up, and she looked SO serious!

The four Trog's Dogs soaking up a little morning spring sunshine. As much as they love the snow, they're pretty happy when it's finally warm and they can spend more time doing that voodoo that they do outside.
